My father did the gym floor at Westview I attended from 67 to 68 and
moved to Calgary as did my sister Kristina Nilsson. I was seriously
enthralled with Christine Bunn but she turned me down for a date ! I was
working at the Dominion store on weekends and school evenings at the
time and remember going to the high school dance and the band did a
marvelous cover of Janis Joplin's version of Summertime .

I attended Westview in 1970 to 1973. One of my teachers for gym class
was Dick Aldridge. I was also fond of Mr. Crack the art teacher, most of
the students laughed at him as he seemed to be 100 years old. It was sad
how he died and I will always remember him

I work in film and T.V. I've been dropping my books off at Westview.
Sort of my life story. They are also at the main ref library, U of T and
the archives in Ottawa. A bunch of us Westview grads are connected on
Facebook. I majored in electricity and electronics. My education at
Westview was a big factor in passing an exam for certification.
Entertainment industry power technician. Some 42 years after leaving
Westview. The aging roadie with grey hair sits down with 25 years olds
to write a 4 hour exam. First try %69 F--k 70 is a pass next try I got
it, you should here the other techs whine, the bizness is up and down
one year I make $100 grand the next year

WOW!! I just found my yearbooks from Westview last night. Going through
those brought back a whole flood of memories. Finally graduated in '81
and still keep in touch with a couple of friends but have lost many
more.

Thanks, this great, we did have a good time, but looking back I missed
alot, I here so many bad things now about the school and area. I wish I

I am wondering who is this anonymous person who has put up these
wonderful pages! They bring back so many memories of my days as a callow
youth - trying to teach Chemistry - and having fun with the music,
